Buffy the Vampire Slayer ended in 2003, but that never meant it wasn't going to come back...in March of 2007, season 8 began but in a different form than Buffy used to be in. Joss Whedon brought it to the comic book world as a continuation of the series, showing the events in Buffy's life after the closing of the Hellmouth in Sunnydale. The comic book is written in several story arcs and is estimated to take place about a year and a half after "Chosen" the final episode of the series. The comic features many of the writers from the series, including Joss himself as both a writer and executive producer, over seeing every bit of each comic as he did with the TV series.
