The new Buffy game takes place in season five between episode 17 and 18. The main storyline involves a dimensional bleed. Though there are many different villians (obviously including vampires, but also skeletons, zombies, and other demons) the big bad of this games is the First and Ethan Rayne. Playable characters include Faith, Willow, Xander, Spike, Sid the Dummy, and obvioulsly Buffy. Dawn is not included in this game, because she is suppose to be away at camp, though I think many people who play this game would rather play as her, then Sid. If you don't remember who Sid was, he was the wooden puppet in the first season episode, "The Puppet Show". The character you play as is determined by which level you are in. This game will also feature five multiplayer modes, including one-on-one, Last Man Standing, Team Survival, Domination, and Bunny Catcher. There will be 24 different playable characters for these games, including Joss Whedon.
Unlike the first game that was released for Xbox only,
this one will be released for PS2, GameCube, and Xbox as well, but the PS2 version will one extra bonus feature, that
the other two won't. Also, this game is said to be about 60 percent action elements and 40 percent puzzle elements.
And the puzzles in the game are a bit more complicted this time and will require you to do more than find a key or a switch.
